Frequently asked questions

Short answers to what you ask us most often. The full rules are in our terms and conditions.

Who can rent a car?

Anyone aged 21 or over who has held a category B driving licence continuously for at least 3 years and has an active mObywatel app (the Polish government ID app). The same applies to every additional driver named in the rental agreement.

What documents do I need at pick-up?

A valid ID document and a driving licence recognised in Poland. We confirm your identity at pick-up in the mObywatel app. Companies also need proof of who is authorised to represent them. Only the person named in the agreement may drive the car.

How much is the deposit and when do I get it back?

The deposit depends on the car - you see the exact amount in your quote before you confirm anything. We release it within 7 business days of the car being returned and inspected. You can pay it online or in cash.

How do I pay for the rental?

Once we confirm your booking we send you a payment link: BLIK, card, instant bank transfer, Google Pay or Apple Pay (ING Pay / imoje gateway). We take a 30% deposit when you book and the rest before pick-up - if your dates are very close, we ask for the full amount straight away.

Is there a mileage limit?

Yes, every rental has a daily mileage allowance - the exact figure and the excess mileage rate are shown in your quote and written into the agreement. Planning a long trip? Call or write to us and we will sort it out beforehand.

How much fuel should be in the car when I return it?

The same level as when you picked it up - we record it in the handover report. If fuel is missing we refuel the car ourselves and charge it according to the fee schedule in your agreement.

What does handover and return look like?

Each time we complete a photo report: condition, mileage, fuel level, tyres and equipment. On return there is no “was it there or not” argument - the photos from both reports settle it. Being up to 60 minutes late does not start another rental day.

What if I need to cancel my booking?

Call or write as early as you can - the earlier, the simpler. We show you how cancellations are settled before you confirm a booking and write it into the rental agreement; the full wording is in our terms and conditions (in Polish).

Can I get a MINI while my own car is being repaired?

Yes, if your car is being repaired at our workshop. Ask for a courtesy car when you book the repair or use the form on our website - we will call you back and sort out the details. It is not an off-the-street rental, so it cannot be booked online.

How does a car covered by the at-fault party’s insurance work?

Someone else caused the collision and we are repairing your car? We provide a MINI with no money up front - we settle the rental directly with the at-fault driver’s insurer. Report the claim through the form and we will handle the paperwork.

Can I take the car abroad?

Only with our written consent in the rental agreement - that is also when we agree the insurance cover outside Poland. Driving abroad without it makes you fully liable for the car, so simply let us know in advance.

This is a summary. The binding documents are our terms and conditions (in Polish) and the rental agreement, which you can review before confirming a booking. All prices on this website are gross and include 23% VAT.
